Takes a while to get out of the arid badlands overall yeah, and if you are even slightly under leveled the enemies delete you. Hence you are forced to do every single side quest in the area just to be at a proper level to beat Sledge and start the game proper.

  • @ Gauche:
The crab worms of the shock crystal quest give ridic exp - always get like 3 lvls clearing that area
    Link
  • @ Battousai:
Yeah because they are between 3 and 4 levels above you on average, when that quest becomes available you are like level 10 or 11, but the quest is level 15.

Well my computer monitor finally kicked the bucket. I can’t believe the thing lasted as long as it did, now granted it was a SANYO TV that I used as both an TV and computer monitor for years. It served me well for 17, or 19 something years.

  • @ Lost-Zeneration-99:
Well time to go find a new monitor. Well at least I had a back up DELL monitor laying around.

  • @ Vendor-Lazarus:
You only use one monitor? Or was it your main monitor that broke?
    Link
  • @ Gauche:
Give it a proper burial - I'm seeing far too many monitors left out in the street these days - people be acting like they are piss filled mattresses

It was my main monitor, as I only use one. I could never get used to using two monitors for some reason.

One monitor here as well. Unless you're a scientist or a professional engineer or something, I never understood the desire to have multiple monitors. You can split windows if you want to, and I just find it neater to keep things on one desktop.

*sigh* Maybe I should finally join the color text crowd now since all the cool kids are doing it.

There we go. I had to not put in the # before the hex color
    Link
  • @ Houseman:
Oh, you can only set preset colors as your permanent color, otherwise you have to do the manual hex entry every time

  • @ Houseman:
"Transparent" seems like a bad choice for a color

There we go, now I don’t get mixed up with Battousai.

Yeah I find one monitor easier for one eye viewing. Make me feel like my head is on a swivel with two.

Don't set it there. You have to click the cogs on the upper right corner of the chat window and select a color from there. This way, you don't have to keep entering it in manually.

  • @ Houseman:
Yeah, it's just that the cogs in the upper right don't allow hex colors
